Approaching from the North, South and West...
Exit the Motorway at Junction 36, take the Barnsley exit at the roundabout.
At next (Birdwell) roundabout, take 3rd exit (A6135). Next, follow the A6135 past the Cross Keys Public House / Garage.
Turn left at the traffic lights. Follow the road for about 1/3 mile... pass Police Station on right... pull into middle of road to turn right. Turn right.
Follow the road until Kirk Balk School and Sports Centre loom on left. Turn right, just before you reach them (Skiers View Rd) - the turning bends back on itself slightly.
Follow Skiers View Road. Take 2nd turning on left - which is Cloughfields Rd. Follow Cloughfields Rd for approximately 1/2 a mile... look for a parade of shops on the left... and the Potters Wheel.
Take next turn left (Shaftesbury Drive) and turn right into the school grounds.
Approaching from the East...
Follow the (new) Dearne Valley Parkway to the Birdwell Roundabout. From here follow the same directions as above!
