At Kexborough Primary School we have held a range of events for both the
children and their families.
Christmas Productions:
The Key Stage One children held 2 highly successful
performances of "It's a Party". All the children worked hard to give
wonderful performances.
The Key Stage 2 children performed Lionel Bart's
"Oliver" over two nights. Both performances were fully booked and the
children demonstrated their amazing talents on each night.
The foundation stage nativity was enjoyed by parents and
children alike.

The school held a very successful healthy eating week. The
children learned about how to lead a healthy lifestyle and kept a record of the
fruit and vegetable portions that they ate that week. The School cook helped
children towards their 5 portions a day target by providing healthy option
school dinners, some of which became so popular that they are still continued!

Children from classes across the school have had the
opportunity to work with a professional dancer on different styles of dance.
They have learned complicated choreographed movements ready for a performance
for parents.
KS1 children were treated to a games evening in March. They
were able to play games such as beetle, bingo, hockey and skipping. The evening
was finished by a feast of delicious hot dogs.

The school football team has been in action, and the children
have had many opportunities to learn different sports skills. Some year 3 and 4
children have taken part in a sports championship against other schools in the
area.
